Stephanie Fauvelle
Owner

Hi! I'm Stephanie, the owner of Folded. I grew up here in Charleston, SC and graduated from the College of Charleston in 2008. I've had many different career journeys in my life. I first taught public high school math in Washington, DC, and later built a career in cybersecurity sales.

When my daughter arrived in 2021, for the first time, I couldn't keep up with everything anymore. Laundry was my least favorite task and staring at those piles of baskets literally made my anxiety spike. In 2023 I decided to try and hire a neighborhood friend to help with the folding and putting away, and it was, life changing. Knowing someone would be folding and putting away the laundry for me took such a massive mental load off my shoulders.

I truly wasn't sure if it was just me who was overwhelmed with laundry, but I took a massive leap of faith and quit my corporate job to start Folded in early 2024. Turns out, it wasn't just me!

Today we serve over 90 families across the Lowcountry, and we continue to welcome more clients every week. I'm so proud of the team I have today, and the company we've built.

If you are overwhelmed with laundry, just know you're not alone, and we are here to help!

Thank you for being here, I'm so glad you found us.

Stephanie
